Anglo-Saxon Lead Disc Brooch. Circa 900 AD. Lead-alloy, 10.34g. 31 mm. The face, detailed in relief with a cross enclosing five bosses. Each angle of the cross has a crescent type motif, all enclosed within a pelleted border. The reverse has the integral pin loop and catch plate intact. Ref: Weetch 2013, type 4.
